Demi Lovato Deleted Her Twitter After “21 Savage” Backlash

Demi Lovato deleted her Twitter Sunday following backlash over a tweet she shared about rapper 21 Savage.

During the Super Bowl, Lovato tweeted, “So far 21 Savage memes have been my favorite part of the Super Bowl,” which resulted in a number of tweets criticizing the singer for being insensitive to the rapper’s detainment.

Bebe Rhexacame to Demi’s defense . . . but mostly from the idiots who were taking personal shots.

She Tweeted, quote, “To all the people who [went after] Demi, you’re [EFFING] DISGUSTING.  Attacking someone that’s six months sober about her personal issues with drugs and mental health over a Tweet is LOW.”

Rapper 21 Savage was arrested by Immigration & Customs Enforcement agents in Atlanta on Sunday, with authorities claiming he’s actually from the UK and has overstayed his welcome. He has long claimed to be from Atlanta and been associated with local rappers — but ICE says his persona is fake. 21 Savage entered the US legally in July 2005 but overstayed his visa. He’s been placed in deportation proceedings in federal immigration court for being here illegally and for being a felon.
