A West Michigan native, born and raised on the east side of Grand Rapids in the Cascade/Ada area, where his parents still reside. His mother was a teacher at Thornapple Elementary for over 30 years, giving him deep ties to the local community. He has been married to his wonderful wife Gabriella since June 2021, and they have been together since October 2015. Recently, they welcomed their first child, a son named Oliver, born on April 19th. They also have a tuxedo cat named Winston, affectionately referred to as their firstborn. He and his wife have been back in West Michigan for over four years now, and his family means absolutely everything to him.
He attended Forest Hills Central High School, Grand Rapids Community College, and Oakland University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Communication, along with a minor in broadcasting.
He has been working in radio and television broadcasting for just over a decade. He started in promotions in Detroit and eventually moved to programming in Port Huron. Since then, he has worked in Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, Battle Creek, and most recently, Kalamazoo.
He loves sports, which are his biggest passion outside of radio. He enjoys playing, watching, and betting on them (responsibly, as entertainment). He and his wife are avid travelers, always on the road or in the air whenever possible. He is also a big foodie and a craft beer/pizza aficionado. Additionally, he loves spending time outdoors, whether on a boat on Lake Michigan or in the woods hunting or hiking.
Heart problems run in his family, and he loves any opportunity to work with the American Heart Association. He is also a strong advocate for those with disabilities, having an uncle and cousin with mental handicaps. He supports animal welfare agencies as well.
