Rob Sparks

*Weekdays from 3:00 – 7:00 pm*

Originally from Arkansas, Rob has been on air for the last 20-plus years. Starting off in Fayetteville, Arkansas with stops in Mobile, Alabama; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; South Bend, Indiana; Springfield, Missouri; and Grand Rapids. 

In South Bend, he hosted mornings for eight years, where he was involved with fundraising for various organizations including the South Bend Center for the Homeless, March of Dimes, Chiara House, Making Strides, the Kelly Foundation, and RiverBend Cancer Services.  He was also the longest running host of the local Roofsit Radiothon, which raised over one million dollars for Child Abuse Prevention in Michiana.

Since moving to Grand Rapids in 2016, Rob has been very involved with our local community both as a radio talent and business owner. Rob was the chair of the Grand Rapids Pride Festival from 2017-2019, has been the DJ for the Grand Rapids Firework show for 2021 & 2022, as well as hosting various fundraisers for Van Andel Institute, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and Making Strides.

In 2022, the company he is part owner of, Wicked Pro Events, also worked with ArtPrize for the opening ceremony, as well as working with the City of Grand Rapids to develop and produce the One Community festival, that is designed to bring all the different groups that make Grand Rapids unique, together for one big event. ‚Äč

Rob is very committed to the West Michigan and is excited to continue to help entertain and build up our community.
