Nate was born and raised in Michigan and has lived in pretty much every part of the state. He is a huge sports fan, especially the Tigers, Lions, and Spartans. He also loves the outdoors and kayaking.​​

Nate met his wife at broadcast school and even proposed to her in the parking lot with a plastic ring! For some reason, she said yes. ​

Nate’s head is filled with useless pop trivia and sports stats, and that leaves no room for the important stuff like kids, birthdates, and what someone told him ten minutes ago. When he’s not on-air, he can be found at one of his children’s sporting events, concerts, or doctor’s appointments.​​
